The CompTIA ERT is a group of dedicated CompTIA members who have either experienced a security incident or can provide guidance to solution providers that have been victimized. We are here to help you navigate the critical steps you need to take during a security emergency. As a volunteer-led program, this service is available at no cost.
The CompTIA ERT supplements your formal incident response relationships. We cannot replace those roles, but offer support where they do not: your health, families, employee well-being, and experienced guidance. Be sure to contact your insurance and legal counsel first.
The CompTIA ERT is always looking for more volunteers who are willing to help fellow MSPs in their time of need. ERT volunteers should have a community-first mindset, be prepared to dedicate their time and be happy to share their expertise, experience and knowledge. Learn more!
Our team comes together to identify program requirements, legal protections and operational workflow via sub-committee work groups.
