Jennifer Axt serves as Vice President for National State and Local Government and Education Programs at Tanium. She has been in the technology industry for over 25 years working for Top Fortune 100 companies with a focus on Public Sector. Jennifer has built and run State & Local Government and Education sales, strategic partners and focused programs for companies such as Tanium, Dell EMC, EMC, CA Inc., and Dell Computer. She is recognized as a thought leader and trusted advisor in SLED, called on by numerous CIOs, Industry Alliance Partners and key decision makers across state government.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has been awarded multiple recognitions. Most recently, she was named 2019 CompTia Champion of the Year ; and for three consecutive years – 2019, 2018 and 2017 Top 50 Women in Technology – Government, by StateScoop. She is currently is the Chair of CompTia State & Local Government and Education Executive Council which is one of the largest technology industry associations. In 2018, she was appointed to NASPO Value Point IT Council. Jennifer was active on the Board of Directors for ITAPS (IT Alliance for Public Sector); has served on several Government Technology’s advisory boards for over 20 years; and was ex-Chair of NASCIO (National Association of State Chief Information Officers) Corporate Leadership Council. Jennifer has also served actively in Women’s Leadership Forum’s; has been an active member of WITI (Women in Technology International); and, for the last five years, she has been awarded by CRN, The Industry’s Most Successful Female Executives.
