CompTIA’s training for an Executive Certificate in Channel Management is designed to aid executives and leaders with vendor and distributor member organizations, in pursuing greater roles in managing the IT channel. If you’re a Premier Member, and you’ve completed the Fundamentals of Channel Management tutorial, then you’re ready to begin your journey toward channel management proficiency, either through face-to-face workshops or self-guided, online tutorials.
This workshop is presented in five parts:
- Know Your Game and the Goal — Adopting the mindset of an IT professional and that of a sales professional might make you feel you’re juggling roles. Learn how a Channel Account Manager (CAM) adapts to the requirements of both.
- Understand Solution Providers — Picture yourself on a level playing field with sales channel partners, who adjust their business models and investment standards to meet market conditions.
- Engage and Influence — Attain the financial knowhow and business credibility you need to engage channel partners and key stakeholders, and persuade them towards a mutually beneficial goal.
- Accelerate Partner Productivity Through Ramping and Development — Build a channel management plan that gets you into the game quickly, and boosts your own goals as well as those of your partners.
- Act — Build a plan of action for your business and execute without delay.
