Join this collaborative group as we work together to develop an inclusive workforce culture capable of filling the pipeline for today’s and tomorrow’s technology careers.

Caroline Smith

Owner, Dataworks

As the visionary and CEO behind Dataworks Consulting, Caroline Smith has a combined background in both business and technology and has been the owner of Dataworks since its inception in 2002. By fostering a team that reveres diversity and inclusion, she’s created a customer-first environment where all ideas are welcome, shaping Dataworks to adeptly evolve with the needs of Seattle small and mid-sized businesses.

Caroline holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Science. In addition to being a roll-up-the-sleeves, hands-on CEO at Dataworks, Caroline is a community leader and speaker, hosting events on business and technology topics that are critical to protecting and fostering growth in small and mid-sized businesses.

Caroline has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to her family, her business and the community at large. In addition to her responsibilities as CEO, she is also a single mother of two daughters that she is instilling with core values such as hard work and community service and an international viewpoint. Her daughters both currently attend a Spanish immersion program and are learning the benefits of dual language capabilities. Caroline works tirelessly with multiple organizations such as Kiwanis Club as a board member, Girl Scouts of America as a troop leader and multiple other volunteer activities such as organizing volunteer events and donating time to homeless and women's shelters.
